I met Tamara by chance in Lisbon while she was sourcing materials for a handmade ceramics brand she was developing in Australia. After connecting over her vision, she invited me to collaborate on the identity for Palinopsia. The word Palinopsia (Greek) is a rare state where you keep seeing an object, long after you’ve stopped looking at it. This informed the concept of lasting impressions through handcrafted pieces, and translated into an illustrative logo using distressed textures and earthy tones, reflecting the tactile, hand-turned quality of their ceramic pieces.
